1st Snow of 2006

So I wasn't quite prepared for the 1st snow with the boys. Keegan doesn't look too bad. He at least has a winter coat, hiking boots, mittens, a hat and looks like he'd be warm. Then if you look closely at Nolan, he has several layers on, but no winter coat, no mittens, no boots (just tennis shoes). However, he has a good hat on! Boy I felt so bad. I couldn't let go of him, b/c if he fell, his hands would fall into the snow and freeze. Well, I let go for a few seconds to take some pictures. If you look at the last picture, Nolan is very upset. He fell and his hands were so cold. I improvised and put my gloves on him. Somehow, I still don't think he liked that idea. A few days later, I was able to go shop for some snow outfits, boots, and mittens. I am ready for a blizzard. But then, the snow started melting. However, the ice stuck around for awhile. Which made it difficult for the boys to walk on it. So we didn't get out in it again. I hope there's another snow soon, minus the ice. It would be nice to have a white Christmas.
