Time with Dad

So I went to Chicago (view my other blog: Life in the Ozarks) and Kyle got to stay home with the boys from Tuesday evening until Saturday evening. They all made it, but Nolan had a harder time adjusting to the change. It was good for all of us. It gave Kyle quality time with the boys and it gave me a time to rejuvenate myself. I did ok being away for 4 days. I suppose talking to Kyle 4 or 5 times in a day helps me stay somewhat connected to what's going on at home. Keegan was always getting on the phone and telling me his thoughts. I have a feeling that the cruise will not allow me that kind of luxury...picking up the phone and calling home to see how my boys are doing. Eight days seems like a long time right now, so I hope I stay busy and not think too much about missing them.
